Yaamava Resort & Casino

I specialize in creating and sourcing unique pieces of artwork and sculpture for our clients.  For the Yaamava Resort & Casino, that request was for a 24” diameter natural white stone sphere on an octagonal natural stone base for their High Limit area.  I spent several weeks sourcing all available natural white stone spheres and presenting the client with photographs and pricing.  They selected one of the available pieces and I oversaw the procurement and import of the sphere, the fabrication of the base, and the installation of both elements.  The base required a custom metal armature to support the 700 lb weight of the sphere.  The armature is finished in natural stone and was recently installed at the property. The flooring also required reinforcement as the final piece including the base weighs 2000 lbs.
